Vision, Mission, & Values

Westside Bible Church’s goal is to experience Christ’s life expressed in the fellowship of believers through worship and service, and to be devoted to the apostles’ teaching, fellowship, breaking of bread and prayers; sharing the gospel with everyone (Acts 2:42); and making disciples (Matt. 28:19-20). In essence, “To know Christ and make Him known.”

Vision
To be a thriving and growing community of believers that sees people in the Treasure Valley and the world reconciled to God, in fellowship with Him, discipled and serving others (2 Cor. 5:17-18).

Mission
To glorify God and to be devoted to the teaching and study of God’s word, to prayer and to fellowship expressed through our worship and remembrance of Christ. (Acts 2:42)

Values

• Impact – Transformed lives seen within all the communities where our church family lives.
• Witness – Christ-like behavior that reflects care, respect, compassion and sensitivity to all people
• Care – The well-being of our church family as we respect, care and pray for one another
• Stewardship – The wise use of resources given for fulfilling the vision and mission of the church 
• Unity – Appreciating our differences, each member seeks to function as one body to demonstrate Christ to each other and to the world around us.
• Trust – Desiring mutual accountability, we demonstrate care by building and strengthening each other in Christ
• Service –To find God’s purpose for their life in the local church by utilizing their spiritual gifting.
