A Clematis bloom just for me on 9/11/2023

This clematis bloomed for a mom's aching heart on Sammy's “heavenversary.” 

It was September, and all the flowers had long since bloomed and died. Why did I look up and see this personal encouragement from God? I don't know, but I immediately understood, yet again, that God sees and understands my loss. 

This was another reminder of God’s grace, tenderness, and love. I cannot count how many such personal "I love you today" reminders I have had in the years since losing my three boys. 

Is my salvation enough reason for me to rejoice in this life? Yes! But the Lord gives me, and each of us, abundantly more than we can imagine or ask for. (Eph.3:20)
